Job Details

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Deliver bulk propane to customers.
  • Prospect and grow customer base by identifying new opportunities in surrounding communities.
  • Prepare delivery tickets and complete paperwork for processing.
  • Complete propane system hookups and gas tests as needed.
  • Provide parts support and perform propane equipment diagnostics.
  • Assist dock customers and process orders.
  • Assist and/or fill in on other routes and provide support within the plant as needed.
  • Observe and adhere to safety and security procedures.
  • Deliver and assist with other propane and petroleum products as needed.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities according to established safety rules and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Train for and fill in for the lube and fuels department during slower propane season.
  • Work in yard, repair/repaint tanks, help in refined fuels, and any other tasks needing completion in order to ensure department success.
  • Class B CDL and good driving record required.
  • Position is required to take a rotation in the on-call schedule for afterhours and weekend service of customer needs. Frequency is determined by the number of employees in the rotation.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of HazMat cleanup and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to operate fuel/propane delivery vehicle safely and confidently.

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • CDL Class B Commercial Driver’s License with HazMat endorsement and medical card
  • One-year experience delivery route driving
  • Ability to drive and acquire forklift driving certification
