Job Details

  • Develop and maintain effective training and process improvement programs for assigned positions.
  • Identify and communicate areas of opportunity and provide recommendations to improve work-flow, equipment, suppliers, and labor to achieve consistent, quality results.
  • Document and communicate business processes and workflow to management and co-workers, providing the foundation for training program development.
  • Lead process improvement implementations and training updates.
  • Track the effectiveness of training and process improvement programs through quality assurance and other follow-up programs, including location visits and audits.
  • Monitor selected business processes; develop and distribute reports to communicate key business measurements.
  • In conjunction with Training Leads, be a resource for others regarding process questions and troubleshooting.
  • Effectively lead conference calls and face-to-face meetings with designated project members or teams.
  • Trainer for company-wide needs and designated position offered virtually and at locations, as needed.
  • Mentor and provide direction to Training Leads in assigned areas including leading hiring and review processes at assigned intervals.
  • Maintain up-to-date electronic process documentation.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.

  • Working knowledge of training techniques.
  • Working knowledge and awareness of retail industry.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other automated office equipment; especially Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint, MS Teams and Zoom.
  • Working knowledge of ERP system Epicor Eagle, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience within the assigned area.
  • Two years of training and development experience preferred.
  • For internal candidates, two years of Wilco work experience.

Field position requiring the ability to travel to various Wilco locations, sometimes with short notice and to multiple locations in the course of a workday.
