Job Details

  • Maintain accurate petroleum inventory by facility, Fuel Book and PUC for Petroleum trucks.
  • Expense Diesel and Federal tax for trucks.
  • Set up transport revenue.
  • Transfer the expense of Petroleum truck to Cardtrol (Stayton).
  • Prepare State Gas Tax.
  • Reconcile fuel deliveries with CENEX and Tesoro. Prepare Washington fuel tax report; State of Oregon Oil Heat report; State of Oregon Diesel Tax; City of Woodburn tax.  Prepare load fees, prepaids and payables. Prepare PUC reports and reports for Low Sulfur diesel for IRS.
  • Supervise Fuel Orders Receptionist/Clerk.
  • Prepare payroll for the Petroleum Division.
  • Send information pertaining to Petroleum to Route.
  • Coordinate Cardtrol activity with Fuel Receptionist.
  • Answer telephones, take fuel orders, and enter price changes.
  • Perform customer relations activities.
  • Assist Division Manager.
  • And other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets software (e.g. Lotus 1-2-3).
  • Skill to operate a ten key proficiently.
  • Skill to operate computer, word processing equipment and other automated office machines.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise other employees, understanding of the fundamentals of supervision.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Understanding of Petroleum industry, State & Federal Laws pertaining to storage transportation and reporting requirements for Petroleum products.
  • Typically requires Vocational School or college in Business Operations and one year previous experience in General Office or Record Keeping and Accounting.
