Job Details

  • Employment, wage and salary, benefits, 401K, and NQDC/LTIP administration.
  • Investigate, advise, and prepare policies affecting personnel and consult and advise on interpretation and administration.
  • Advise line supervision in handling grievances and interpretation of personnel records and supervise the preparation of various personnel reports.
  • Responsible for employee handbooks updates and policy development.
  • Administer employee benefit plans.
  • Responsible for compliance with wage & hour regulations.
  • Review available courses and instructional materials for use in training company employees on assigned vocational or personal development topics.
  • Oversee employee orientation program for administrative and manager level and above.
  • Develop and implement effective safety committees in each location.
  • Directs the loss control program dealing with all aspects of worker compensation.
  • Develops and implements programs to minimize our liability exposure as a company.
  • Coordinates and/or provides safety-related training for Wilco staff.
  • Prepare and recommend facility upgrades and replacement to minimize our loss potential.
  • Develops and implements plan to enable Wilco to maintain compliance with all city, county, state, and federal agencies.
  • Manage and oversee the company HRIS.
  • Responsible for job description development and updates.
  • Prepares for company audits by private or governmental agencies.
  • Maintains employee DOT files.
  • Administers company wide random drug testing program.
  • Attend seminars and workshops to stay current on rule changes, safety trends, and new loss prevention techniques.
  • And other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the fundamentals of safety and risk management.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other automated office machines, especially Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of training techniques and State and Federal Wage & Hour laws.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, innovative, and creative, with strong self-directed time management skills.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Agribusiness, or related field desirable.
  • Three years of similar experience.
