Job Details

  • Participate and contribute to warehouse performance management activities with the DC Manager including hiring, positive and constructive feedback suggestions and performance appraisal development and delivery.
  • Lead all DC daily functions to include Receive, Putaway, Replenishment, Order Pick, Loading and sanitation.
  • Lead in creating work schedules for warehousers.
  • Provide product information to DC Warehousers on warehouse and yard products.
  • Keep warehouse and outside facility areas clean and orderly.
  • Participate in the supervision of the warehouse team.
  • Operate forklift regularly.
  • Help in all areas of the DC as directed.
  • Willingness to attend continuing education courses on leadership, supervision, etc.
  • And other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.
  • Knowledge of computer systems operations and associated software.
  • Experience with and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Skill to operate a forklift and other facility equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Skill to operate a computer and other automated office machines.
  • Skill at product recognition.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
  • Problem solving and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year supervisory experience.
  • Ability to grasp, clutch, pull, push, climb, bend, stretch and kneel.
  • Regular lifting of products up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional team lifting of products up to 100 pounds.
  • Able and willing to work frequent early, late and weekend shifts.
  • Indoor/outdoor work in a warehouse environment.
