- Works directly with business unit staff to discover and map current processes, creating specs for new system functionality, data integrations, and business intelligence tools.
- Works closely with business unit staff to manage project implementations and deliver back-end integrations in a timely manner, functions as IT project lead.
- Serves as communications liaison between IT and the business units for releases, outages and critical business impacting situations ensuring that communications are timely, accurate and relevant.
- Responsible to maximize ROI on all managed business systems and integrations.
- Plans and executes business application and database upgrades utilizing best practices, test environments, backups, and snapshots to protect business data.
- Update procedures and documentation for application and database upgrades.

- Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of business applications and database systems, including on call coverage as required.
