Responsibilities
- Waters garden center and other display live plants on a directed cycle and utilizing established techniques and standards.
- Participates in garden center plant and facility maintenance.
- Provides garden center customer service.
- Unloads and merchandises live plant deliveries.
- Loads customer orders.
- Maintain and comply with established retail standards.
- Help inside, outside or in other areas of the store as directed.
And other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.
Special Skills & Training
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in live plant.
- Knowledge or learning capacity for executing special watering technique.
- Retail or gardening experience.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
- Continuous holding of hose and waterer.
- Ability to stand on concrete surface during shift.
- Outdoor, unconditioned work area.
