Store Manager

Job Details

  • Assist in managing store personnel including staff selection, training, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating employees.
  • Act as Manager on Duty when store manager is out.
  • Insure customer service using established retail customer service standards.
  • Manage and maintain store facility and location equipment using established retail image standards.
  • Direct location merchandise management including receiving, stocking, merchandising, and assembling of product utilizing established procedures.
  • Lead and participate in regular and special meetings.
  • Open and/or close farm store as assigned.
  • Participate in special project work when requested.

And other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.

  • Knowledge of management, supervision practices, principles, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of industry and support of company core values.
  • Skill to operate computer systems and automated office machines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to customers and staff.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • 3 years retail experience.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Occasional bag/bale lifting.
  • Indoor/outdoor work.
  • May include some travel for special projects or assignments.
